Jo ★The Book Sloth★ Meh...This short story was a waste of time. When I started the books I loved the romance. After the fourth or fifth book I only read them for the action. I skip sex scenes completely and despair with her self depression due to her sluttiness!:P

Must be a short read for you then these days, lol. She didn't get with Jean Claude until Book 6, which is still my favorite. I think it started going downhill for me around Book 8. I stopped caring after that but I didn't stop reading completely until maybe 4 or 5 books ago, though I really can't even recall what happened in this series after book 7 aside from that a bunch of sex and whoring and borderline bestiality went down. And I can't even recall specifics.

Jo ★The Book Sloth★ Exactly my problem with book 6. I liked the romance while it was platonic, from the moment she hoped into JC's bed it went downhill(also before book 7 I was team Richard all the way and then he went and destroyed it). I actually like only her relationship with Micah and Nathaniel now and want her to drop everyone else. My fav book was Obsidian Butterfly because it's the only one without her harem. And I absolutely HATE Asher!

VampireNovelFan Yeah, I was Team Jean-Claude from the first book. It's just that he was the ONLY team I was ever on and when it extended to a harem shortly after being just him, I lost interest completely. I'm not a Richard fan so Book 8 was not my fave. I am completely apathetic towards Asher but I do not like him infringing on potential Anita and JC moments. Do they even get time to themselves anymore?

Jo ★The Book Sloth★ I don't even remember book 8. I enjoyed 9 because it doesn't include any of her "sweeties" so less drama! But it does include Edward whom I LOVE! :P

JC is a little too manipulative for my tastes so he's not first on my list but by the 11th book he is definitely above Richard!:P

VampireNovelFan I just remember it was the first book with no JC and I was insanely bored lol. Richard definitely sucks lol.

Jo ★The Book Sloth★ HAHAAHAHAHAHAHA

I actually like the crime stories and the action more than the sex and love and drama! So much drama!:P

I did in the beginning, but then I stopped caring. I just don't like Anita that much. I like it for other series though. For the record, I am more of an UF than PNR person. I just appreciate chemistry too when it's well done.

Jo ★The Book Sloth★ Don't know...I don't much like Anita as a person but I do enjoy the books. It's not one of my fav series by any means but I liked it well enough at the time I read it!:P

I like both PNR and UF as long as it has interesting characters!:)

VampireNovelFan Yeah that's why they still sell so somebody does, lol. Interesting characters is a definitely must for me.

Natasha Chowdory Ooo I hadn't seen this one, but I gotta say, not sure that I want to read it, I carry on with the series because the urban legend/myth element of it is done very well. Anita I both hate and can tolerate. I used to like her, but not so much anymore.

I like when a series has an end in sight and doesn't really meander. After 16 or 17 books I just couldn't buy what she was offering anymore. Didn't sense any real direction and from Hamilton's attitude it looks like she won't ever stop writing them. I just can't do it. The Hollows is my absolute favorite ever and even still I am very happy it's coming to an end and the latter books are a lot stronger because of it.
