Rose It really sucks. :/ When I think about it now, I think I'm just not in the right mood to read this. I'm ill at the moment and whenever I get home from school, I feel all sleepy and even after taking a 5-hour nap, I'm really tired and feel like going back to sleep again. I just need an awesomely good book that keeps me glued to the pages (like The Host) even if I'm tired and feel shitty because a book where nothing happens and that's making me fall asleep is not doing it for me right now. I guess my mood just ruined this book for me (I'm usually more patient, even with books that start out boring) and I don't think I'll attempt to read it some other time now.

Navessa I have that happen, where my mood dictates how I feel about a book. Sometimes I go back later and sometimes I just...meh, no thanks.

I'm sorry you're sick :( I HATE being sick. Hope you feel better soon!

Rose My mood pretty much always dictates how I feel about a book. Sometimes I like a book I'd probably hate if I wouldn't have been in the right mood for it and vice versa. I never did not finish books I started before because of my bookish OCD (there was a time where it was way worse than it is at the moment), you know. But this year I just couldn't care less. If I don't like a book, I'll put it aside to read a (hopefully) better book.

Aw, thanks. :) I'm not really sure if it's just the pollen allergy (which is just awful this year because the weather is going crazy and they're circling around (is that the right word for it? haha) later than usual this year) because it feels like it's a cold but also not? It's very complicated and the doc didn't help me out that much when I went to see her.
