Kathleen This premise sounds intriguing, Jill, especially since I was living just outside San Fran when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit in 89, causing a freeway to collapse and freezing the BART train in its tunnel under the bay. And I agree with you -- characters can fall in love faster when they are thrown together 24-7 in extreme conditions. Btw, I have never read anything by this author. Adding it to my list!

Blacky *Romance Addict* Great review Jill!

@ Kathleen
The premise is intriguing, Kathleen and under-utilised imo. I have seen pics of the SF quake and am very glad not to be living anywhere near an earthquake zone!

Hope you enjoy this as much as I did when you get to it!

Thanks for the heads-up on this one, B. You were right, it's a very good R/S. I'm still surprised at the average ratings....

Yeah, so true. I was kinda shocked to see the low average rating. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Kathleen Enjoyed the book, Jill. Thanks for bringing it to my notice. I agree with your statement that the romance plays out plausibly, despite the insta-luv.

This was my first by JS. She reminds me of Linda Howard, but not quite as good.

So glad you enjoyed it, Kathleen! And I agree JS doesn't quite have the same sweet prose as LH, but she does tell a fine story.
