Hey just wondering if you feel like all of your questions where answered in this book?
No, many questions are yet to be answered...
However, the way the book ended made sense...
Many firsts... And the end is only the beginning...
After waiting forever for this book (I feel like I was one of the first ever to read DOW), I felt almost, well, disappointed? in the finish? SPOILERS: I felt like a lot of it was really predictable, and I wasn't happy with some of the new characters, like Chris and Pheobe. There wasn't any depth to them.
SPOILER!!!
I felt like there were too many threads left open. Clearly by being given another arrow things are far from over for Diana and they are not safe long term. I struggle to believe that the goddess is finished with her. satu and Gerbert are passed over as a potential threat, and did I miss something?? Diana will just continue to age?? I wasn't happy with that at all. Matthew has made it clear that he won't live without her, and her children may live for a couple of centuries. I think I may need to reread the whole series in case I missed anything.
Stupid phone...
Sorry... But I believe you are right, but it makes sense if you really think about it...
The ending... You know...?
The end is only the beginning...
I hope there is. I know people really want a Gallowglass book but I still think that Diana and Matthew's story is unfinished.
