It's a very trashy, overblown, overblooded, WAY oversexed version, but I can't help myself from watching it. I'm so ashamed! ::sob:: ;-)

Elizabeth Lol, I loved the books and I unabashedly love the series. I actually even sucked (no pun intended) my manly-man of a boyfriend into watching it with me :-)

Arlene Allen Watching the show is like watching an orgy full of beautiful people. Hard to look away. I had the shock of my life when I watched the first episode. My 15 year old daughter (who has read the first few books too) and I sat down to watch...and UH OH! She fled the room rather quickly!

Heather S. I completely agree with you, Tamora. It might as well not even be said that it is based on the series as it is very different in too many ways. Still, I can't help but watch. It's deliciously trashy and sexy. :)

VMom I saw the first ep when we had a free hbo weekend. I would watch more if we had hbo. OTOH I heard that Eric is not a love interest on the series? If that is true it may be a good thing I can't watch -- I might end up throwing things at the tv since I am a hopeless Eric fan.
