I have high hopes for them. I saw the movie version of "L.A. Confidential" but haven't read the book yet - loved it though.

Anthony Vacca The next book, The Big Nowhere, is my favorite of the quartet.

William On my top-to-read list! Thank you for the review.

William Wow. Brutal and brilliant, raw and alive, elegiac and painful. A masterpiece of crime and personal desire and intense action, often obscene.
