Not yet. I meant to read Bet Me first. I checked out the combo ebook from the library that had this book and Bet me. Welcome to Temptation was 1st in the ebook. I'll read Bet Me next. I've heard it is better.

I agree with the Bet Me rec. It's my favorite Jennifer Crusie book. I haven't read WTT. I'm sorry it didn't fully work out for you. Another fun book by JC is Getting Rid of Bradley. You have to remember that a lot of JC's books are old-school Harlequin rom-coms. I didn't read any of her books until she had already stopped publishing them. Via my Mom's recommendation. If that tell's you anything. Haha! I do love her use of multi-POV's and third person perspectives. Unfortunately, both of which are becoming less common in contemporary romance.

I love the 3rd person POV that she uses. It's my favorite style of writing and I agree with you that it's becoming less common in contemporary romance. I think that's why I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips so much. I wish more writers would use it. I think 1st person POV just blends together too much and so many books read the same.
