jessica hehe. so true! im such a mood reader, so if i feel emotionally stable to read WWII stories, i gotta get them all in. 🙈

Hazel Thomet I tried reading Salt to the Sea but I decided I needed to wait until I am older when I am studying WWII.

message 7: by Prashasti (new)

Prashasti So truly said, Jess...closure is indeed necessary. Btw, I'm really curious what that title conveys?

message 8: by jessica (new)

jessica hazel - yeah, i understand. it has some pretty mature content so you definitely have to be in the right mindset for it.

prashasti - to be honest, im not entirely sure. remembering the quote that references the title, its in regards to the disaster and the numerous bodies that 'became salt to the sea.' i think it refers to all the lives lost, that they became a part of the sea, just as salt is.
