Julie Thanks, Britney, I love books that teach kids, early on, how to identify Creepers!

Julie Nancy,
I wish our son had known this one; he would have loved it. I didn't know this book when he was little.

Julie Wow, David,
I haven't seen that word since my SAT prep course. Thanks for keeping it alive.

message 11: by Cheri (new)

Cheri Such a charming review, Julie, I loved your personal story behind this one. Just wonderful.

message 12: by Julie (new)

Julie Thank you, Cheri. I wonder what my littles will think about being "featured" in so many of my reviews someday!

Candi I posted a comment last night, but it seems to have disappeared (what's up with GR the last couple days?!)

A lovely review, Julie. I love the cover on this book, so I'm sure I would adore all of the illustrations. Glad it was a hit :)

Julie Candi,
Goodreads is training us all to be Zen Buddhists. . . not to attach to any of our words, because they often vanish as though they were written in invisible ink!
To be fair, though, I had a long thread with my friend David on this review yesterday, and I deleted a bunch of them today, so it could have been user error!
Either way, thank you. It's a deliciously dark read with three clever little girls and it's a fun one for our family library.

Jennifer ~ TarHeelReader I added this one, Julie. Any book worthy of a skirmish by your littles is worthy of reading. Definitely adding this to my shelf!

Julie It's dark, Jennifer, but in the way that the littles love.
