Beks [The Little Fiction Fox] I've only read this book once and that was the week it was released, but I definitely remember bawling like a baby at the end and had the biggest book hangover for like, a month. I might have to read this trilogy again when I can handle ALL. THE. FEELS 😭 Glad you enjoyed it!!

message 20: by Ella M (new)

Ella M man i need to reread these. I miss the Ultimate OT3.

message 21: by Elise (new)

Elise (TheBookishActress) @Ella yes you should I love one (1) trio of married people

message 22: by Laura (new)

Laura Herondale Whenever people tell me that they hate Cassandra Clare's books, but have only read TMI, I pretty much throw this series at them. Honestly love these books more than I've ever loved anything in my life, and I get that they aren't perfect, but my god they come pretty bloody close for me. I'm Glad you enjoyed them :))))

message 23: by Elise (new)

Elise (TheBookishActress) @Laura that’s totally fair, considering I like..... hate TMI. BUT THIS IS SO GOOD. IT’S. SO. GOOD. and yeah, they aren’t perfect, but they’re so amazing in so many ways 😊

I wouldn't say I hate TMI, because it's so nostalgic for me, but if I reread them now, I don't think I'd be able to get through City of Bones without burning the whole series :P But TID is leGIT AMAZING :))

message 25: by Finn Longman (new)

Finn Longman This review echoes so many of my own thoughts. Especially about Will/Jem/Tessa.

message 26: by Elise (new)

Elise (TheBookishActress) @Laura honestly that’s so valid, I think I just didn’t have that nostalgia. but THIS DID NOT NEED NOSTALGIA IT’S JUST GREAT

message 27: by Elise (new)

Elise (TheBookishActress) @Miriam listen Tessa/Will/Jem is the hill I die on, they are perfect and glorious and they deserve the fucking world

message 28: by Lance (new)

Lance I've been feeling like I need to reread the trilogy recently and this review mayyyyyyyy push me to actually do it.

message 32: by Adri (new)

Adri You're making me want to read this series 😂 I've only read Clockwork angel and skimmed the rest so I could get to The Dark Artifices (w/c is my fave of all CC books)

message 33: by Elise (new)

Elise (TheBookishActress) @Adri you totally should, tbh! I’m not a fan of TMI - like, at all - so this was a pleasant surprise 😊

message 34: by Ella M (new)

Ella M Also yes to the Tessa Gray love.

Einav Demon pox! Perfect trilogy!😩♥️

And if you want a real quality jump - go and read “the Dark Artifices” series - it’s her best work so far!

oh big mood

message 47: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa Agreed 100%! (Okay, 99.99% cause I am actually slightly annoyed by all the pairing up)
Also a big fat YES liking the two Jem ships better than the Will/Tessa one (probably cause you can always tell when CC wants to stirr their readers towards certain ships in love triangles that are supposed to have equal chances in theory and I resent that). OT3 forever tho, obviously.

valid on both points!!!! i totally agree, i think i just gravitate more towards what's not being pushed - will & tessa just also hit on some of the bad boy x good girl conventions i'm less thrilled by (although they also have enough good points that i'm still super invested).
