Shannon C. I had to put this book down several times while reading it b/c it was stressing me out so much. Really an edge-of-your-seat read....

Texas Reader Stacy WOW....I think I'm going to have to give this series a try.

Dee Ha ha ....you definately liked it then Jodie :))

Great review!

I guarantee you will fall in love with Dallas too ;)

Riverina Romantics @ Megan - My emotions may have been a little heightened with the alcohol - but I still absolutely loved this book.

@ Shannon - I agree. It was intense! I had nightmares, but couldn't put it down.

@ Stacy - I don't like to recommend books very often because people have such different tastes, but I really love this series and Cindy Gerard has some serious talent as a writer.

@ Dee - I love Dallas ALREADY!! I can't believe I have to wait till book 6!!! Its going to kill me.

Dee Next you have got Jase's story and then Manny's.

I also loved Manny's but with Jase's story it was a bit different because it took me a while to get into it. In fact I left it mid book for about a week but thinking about it now I don't think I was really fair to it to be honest with you. I think it was because I read it straight after finishing this one and of course it is a completely different story in a different setting so I suppose I didn't feel as if it gripped me as much - does that make sense?

Anyway I am sure you will enjoy them both and then you can go on and read all about Dallas and fantasize about him too ha ha

Riverina Romantics @ Dee

To be honest I can't even remember who Jase is.

I am going to read a few different books before I go ahead with this series - I have really high expectations now, so I don't want to rush into it.

But I understand what you are saying completely.

Dee Jase was the young man we met in the first one and he is a friend of Nolan's. Nolan was his superior in the forces - you probably remember him as Plowboy. Nolan had to go to that nightclub/bar as he was drunk and fighting.

I totally understand what you saying too and I think it is a good idea to ho off and read others before carrying on with series....happy reading xx

Melanie Your review cracked me up! Now I'm thinking I gotta get me some 'Bodyguards' lol... how, um, "hot" are they?? :)

Riverina Romantics They aren't overly hot melanie, depending on whay u r used to. Sex scenes but not big ones and the book concentrates more on storyline than sex. In all honesty I would love a bit more heat in this series but the stories are so good the way they are anyway. I'm just used to the hotter stuff.

Riverina Romantics Thanks Dee. I totally remember now.

Its shitty cause after this book I cant find anything I want to read.
