Trish Thank you. the books are making it easy. I have feeling that this books will have me update you guys even more often simply because I'll either erupt from rage or Schadenfreude regularly. *lol*

Kathy Miller Trish, I really got hooked on the 3 book series. Great characters and I fell in love with both of them...

Kathy Miller I meant I , feel in love with both of the main characters. :o)

Bradley I'm so glad you liked (ne, loved) the trilogy, Trish. I'm happy for you! :) I'm just sorry you happened to have such health issues right AS you were reading them. Or any time. ; ;

I agree that this is a love story done right. :) Fantastic, even. :)

Trish Yeah, not being able to get back into this world for so long was definitely bad because I wanted to know what was gonna happen but I got there in the end. Also, I don't see the difference between book 1 and book 2+3 that many talk about. Sure, book 2 had the timewalk but the style was the same, as well as the characteristics of the people in the story.

By the way, I saw the first teaser for the TV show and threw up in my mouth a little.

Bradley Yeah, I see the series as a complete whole, too. So much from two came back to three and the alchemy of all parts was quite delicious.

And yeah, it's a f***ing f***cking shame about the tv production. ; ;

Trish It felt as if the author had written the story in one go and then divided it - which I very much like as it gave the whole feeling of continuity.

The more I think about how much I like the books, the more my heart bleeds because of the TV production.

Trish By the way: apparently, a jewelry designer came up with the design for Ysabeau's ring.

It will be interesting to see if this is actually the one used on the TV show or not but I was fascinated by the ring from the very first time it was mentioned and think that this might look nice (depends on how it looks when you wear it).

Cyndi Great review! I loved this series! 😊

Trish Thank you. I'm glad it has some fans.

message 12: by Maria (new)

Maria it's very late in the year but i just finished reading the trilogy!! a co worker recommended these books and i have to say that at first Diana pissed me off tremendously but as i kept reading i saw the bigger picture...the only things that i didn't like were; these creatures had all this power but Matthew could never defend anyone and Diana was afraid of everything...to me if you have all these powers or if you are the assassin then it would be easy for you to defend your loved ones...here it felt short...hyped up the characters to just make them seem like less than what they should be...but no book is perfect!! i like this story

message 13: by Trish (new)

Trish Well, in case of Matthew, there was the fear of losing control and breaking laws, bringing down the force of the council on his loved ones' heads. A blood frenzy wouldn't really be helping then. But I agree about Diana's fear.

Ayla Great review Trish, I also loved this series, hated it when it ended, hoping there is a continuation with the twins! I also thought the family home was cool! The way it would add a room or two as needed.

message 15: by Trish (new)

Trish I LOVED the house. Almost more than some characters. *lol* For now, there will be no continuation with the children but with two other characters.

message 16: by Ayla (new)

Ayla Sept 18 will be looking out for that one!
