Sophia Ismaa Oh no, please don’t take the books word for it. The book was 1/4 of a novella and the film took it to a different level. Sure, the whole why didn’t anyone check behind the poster makes sense, but when you see the film and how Andy engineered it, the execution is much better.
Also, TSR is my second favourite film ever! Stand By Me is my first and ironically, it’s also 1/4 of the same novella.

Fuzaila Omg noooo.. for once, please take everyone's word and watch the movie. There's a reason it's more popular than the book :) (a rare case too!)
I haven't read the book but having watched the movie and loving it, I dont think there's any need to.

I was never going to watch it but seeming how much everyone likes it, I might give it a try.
