Lisa Vegan Oh, this looks fascinating. Adding it. I do know quite a bit about multiple personality disorder and other dissociative disorders, although (hopefully) not as much as mental health professionals that specialize in such disorders. I've found that most therapists actually don't know much about MPD.

My first realization that I wanted to be a psychologist was when I read Sybil as a child. I liked Ruff's Bad Monkeys pretty well, so I've added this. Thanks for the review.

Lisa Vegan I loved Sybil. Highly disturbing. Off to check out Bad Monkeys. I don't know that book.

Lisa Vegan Oh, Goodreads is an extremely dangerous place, time consuming on its own and then all those books that are on my toppling to-read shelf.

K Thanks, Lisa and Sho. Yes -- goodreads is a very dangerous place. I will have to try "Bad Monkeys" -- I really liked "Set this House in Order," and would love to try more books by Matt Ruff. I should get to "Sybil" too.

M Apparently I read (and enjoyed!) Bad Monkeys though I remember it not at all (thank you GR for being my back up mind.. sigh) - so definitely check it out though (I said in my review) it's no Set This House in Order (but then what is??)
