Cheri Wonderful review, Amalia, I have been on the fence about this one. I've enjoyed some dystopian novels, but there is something about this one that has had me in "pause" mode, waiting on some reviews. Convincing review!

Thank you so much, Cheri! I found this book to be realy unique, with a strikingly beautiful prose. I am a big admirer of Dystopian novels done right, because this genre has suffered a lot recently...

Cheri Thank you, Amalia, "strikingly beautiful prose" is a definite plus! Now I just see if I get approved!

Ann (Inky) "Perhaps we need to face a universal catastrophe in order to realise how wrong we have been, how imprisoned in our microcosm?"

That is a BRILLIANT sentence! As is the rest of the review. Well done.

(For the record, I think the answer is YES.)

Thank you so much, Ann! I agree with you. We need the theory of shock in order to realise all the harm we've done. Unfortunately....

Hannah Grace || BookNerdNative Happy to see you liked this one! A lot of the reviews I've seen online have been people who have been disappointed by this one. I really enjoyed it!

Thank you, Hannah! I am happy to see you enjoyed it as well. I think this is a book that demands the reader to think and pay full attention. It is certainly isn't the usual dystopian, post - apocalyptic read. It requires the right mentality. I think that the writing style was exquisite. A bit difficult for the average reader, perhaps, but very unique and beautiful.
