Elise (TheBookishActress) I haven't read them since I was ten and I'm almost worried I won't like them so much the second time around!

Chantal (Every Word A Doorway) This is so exciting!!

message 3: by Cari (new)

Cari I'm excited/scared. The first trilogy had so many horrible moments I could not believe it was intended for a younger audience.

Totally agree. I read it when I was very young and I remember it radically changed the way I saw the world--that's not an exaggeration. That's part of the reason why I think rereading those books now could be an important experience for me just as much as the first time was. I know to me it will be like meeting up with my younger self and that's scary to me. I hope it will leave eager for a new adventure in that world :)

EXACTLY MY FEELINGS. But I'm going to do that all the same because while I loved them, I also know I was too young to fully understand them back when I read them, and I want to do that now, sooo yep, I have to overcome my fears for this one :)

Jovana Autumn I can't wait! I read His dark materials last year and it's one of my favorite series now, although i wish i read it at a younger age, really changes the way you see the world :) I also hope that it wont dissapoint me because i have high expectations after the trilogy. Kinda nervous! :D

Sarah (thegirltheycalljones) I almost had a stroke when I learnt Pullman was going back there! Can't wait to reread the trilogy too, because all my brain seems to remember is that (view spoiler).

Ashley *Hufflepuff Kitten* I still need to read books 2 and 3! I read the first one a few months ago and really enjoyed it :)

I hope you enjoy books 2 and 3 as well then, Ashley! As I said I read this trilogy when I was little, but it completely revolutionized my way of thinking (and I know that's putting a lot of pressure on the books XD)

I KNOW! I've been mourning over that thing for years. I'm trying not to nurture any specific hopes and also not to spoil myself a single thing of what is going to happen in this book before it comes out but come on, who am I kidding, (view spoiler) X°D

It really does! I'll guess we'll be keeping our fingers crossed together, Jovana! :D
