Vincent Lombardo I really enjoyed reading his short stories.

Michael Finocchiaro Reading them now, they are excellent. More somber than Updike but penetrating like Roth

Cecily Daisy + Emma = Holly?! Neat.

Michael Finocchiaro :) Thanks Cecily!

Luce Audrey Hepburn played Holly. I totally agree with your movie & book review. Well said.

Michael Finocchiaro Thanks for the correction Luce. Aïe. And thank you for the compliment!

Ashley I'm going to be honest - I didn't know this was written by Capote until I saw this review. I've put it on hold at the library. I suppose it's a must read! Thanks for the review! :)

Michael Finocchiaro You are welcome Ashley. Confession: I thought it was a light lovestory myself before I read it and realized it was more of a Greek tragedy of unrequited love

P.E. Holly Golightly a blend of Emma Bovary and Daisy Buchanan indeed!

Speaking of the movie, don't you find Holly is a trifle more rowdy and untidy in the book? ;)

Fine review, thanks Michael!
