Raoofa Ibrahim I'm really happy that you enjoyed the book and I guarantee to you that the rest of the series will exceed your expectation (except book 2 I didn't like it a lot)

and I hope your hard days will pass :(

I'm sorry it's not a good review, just whatever in my mind now to just not forget why I loved this one that much.

Kane by the wayl looks so thrilling.
And for book two, I read 8 pages preview in the same book. And I have one sarcastic line I can't help but tease it in the review of it.
But don't worry, I always hate book twos -Chamber of Secrets almost made me stop following the young wizard anymore :)

Really? You didn't read Heroes of Olympus after all this time?
Good luck in the BF day, well we have black everyday now in Egypt . Lol

First of all, really you did push me hard, and to be honest. I was sure I'll rate it 4 just for you cause I felt it'll be 3.5 ... but man, how wrong I was!
Brilliant really, and I can't thank you enough cause I swear I'd never even buy -and bile as usual- the series if not for your great enthusiastic recommendation.

Okay okay, wallahy I went through my mail to check who I add here first, and wallahy you two kept asking me more than some new authors asking to read their own novels -I wish you try by the way:)-
And yes, sometimes Raoofa would say , Malak asked me when will you start Percy
As I said, I will split it the whole series and I'll add you for the final one.
Oh and Death Cure, just I wish I like it.
And thank you. I already ordered Kane box set.
You two are real great Olympian Friends :)

That was my place too. I never would touch a book I'm 3 sequel series are already following, with huge fandom and really not encouraging movie At All.
And Gods? ,I hate high fantasy.
Well if not for my 2 friends here I would miss a really amazing Urban Fantasy here.

And since you're from our Wizarding World -not a muggle since you rated all 7 of HP 5 stars, and rated at least one companion book- trust me, Percy Jackson is one excellent read for you.

Oh that's too much, I thought you bought everyone in real time. , curious to know, which edition will you got?
PS: now I wish I had bought the hardcover box set of PJ before our Egyptian Pound get to half its value.

Dina Hekal You're starting a very amazing journey and still have a long way ahead, which is great :D :D enjoy

O thank you so much, I'm already in love with the series now that I finished book 2 as well.
Did u try Heroes of the Olympes series as well?

message 16: by Dina (new)

Dina Hekal Yeah, i think it gets better and bigger with the add of the roman mythology and new great characters. I think of both sagas one big continous story.

message 17: by Shafky (new)

Shafky Rahma Exciting review

message 18: by Raoofa (new)

Raoofa Ibrahim I enjoyed reading your review .. about the characters: first I noticed that u always love the protagonist :3, second Annabeth is one of my fav. character in this series but in book 4 you'll know her more

about ADHD, did u know that Rick's son has ADHD so he purposely wrote that the hero-demi god- has ADHD so he'll know that his illness is an indication for a hero gene

Mohammed Arabey Dina wrote: "Yeah, i think it gets better and bigger with the add of the roman mythology and new great characters. I think of both sagas one big continous story."

I guess I'm going really to try as best to finish the 5 books this year..to read the second series ASAP.
it's really seems amazing too.

Thank u so so much :) I'm so glad u liked it.. I felt like I wanna talk about the experience as whole not just the first story - kinda as make mends after the Sword of Summer's review-

And yes,, when the story is as well told, I become as one with the protagonist ... but Annabeth is amazing and smart and rich as well. I'm more exciting for her more than the Groover.

Oh and about the ADHD ...that's sweet trivia.. and that's really nice from him.

message 22: by Bayan (new)

Bayan Allou Have you seen the movie ?

message 23: by Mohammed (new)

Mohammed Arabey Bayan wrote: "Have you seen the movie ?"

Oh yes yes did I forget to mention, that Specially in Percy's case, NEVER JUDGE THE BOOK BY ITS MOVIE,,,it's totally different , the book way much better.

message 24: by Bayan (new)

Bayan Allou Well, I always wanted to read the books but the movies are just so lame so I was afraid that it would turn to be a waste of time ..
Now you encouraged me to read them ..
Thanks

totally same feeling here..
He just build a perfect good world in the book, the characters are interesting and the story is bigger than the movie.
hope u like it, and will wait ur opinion ISA

Thank you a million really appreciate this comment, I loved ur 'from-heart' review of the cursed child, I believe I laughed as crazy with " اقتلي عمو يا حبيبتي' , u wrote it in English but I heard it through ur lines in arabic as simple as "تف علي عمو ياحبيبي"

Go on... read more, read reviews and do much better and u will.
Thank u a million.

message 28: by Esraa (new)

Esraa Khattat thank you very much
i read the harry potter series too many times and you always encouraged me to reread in English but I am just waiting to finish my exams
and when i wrote kill your uncle baby that was exactly what I was thinking of

I pray you do well in exams inshaAllah and trust me ur re-read in English you'll find out u missed 10% of book two and three, and over 25% of book four. I find my experience in reading Potter a life changing event really, I'd never read any serious books or even real good ones if not started with the English version.

بص هي اقل شوية من هاري بوتر كفئة عمرية مقدمة لها لكنها ممتعة عاما بالنسبة لي كمتخطي الثلاثينات لكني عاما بحب القصة المكتوبة حلو حتي لو
Middle Grade

So glad that u loved it... I loved the story so much too and glad I forget the movie, it almost made me skip reading the whole series.

message 36: by Sarah (new)
