It's completely gross! If King would have made this a story, people would think he's gone a bit too far!!!!

Thank you! Sorry for grossing everyone out...it's just that I kind of think everything that could be said about this book HAS been said, so I decided to add a bit about one of the books the teacher was reading while in the hospital (Naturally, being very curious, I HAD to look it up). And....yuck, but at least it's different.....

PirateSteve 5 Star Review

It's always the best reviews that takes you deeper into a book than what's on the printed page.

Thank you. I always end up researching something in the book, or reading another book to totally get more from what I'm reading.....thats's why it takes me so long!

Charlie Collins Great review. I loved this book.

Thank you--it was great! Love old King books....I kind of started backward, which doesn't work well with King.

PorshaJo Great review Christy! I have seen the movie but never read the book. What a perfect time to pick it up.

Thank you! I am sure you won't be disappointed, the first part is a bit slow, introducing you to characters and the town, then the action is so fast you can't breath!

Wow Thomas! I consider that high praise indeed coming from you!

Janie Gruen WOW!! Christy! What a gift you have for pulling out deeper meaning beyond the surface of the books you review. Impressed, also, by your bent toward searching out additional tidbits of interest which enhance the words on the page. Well Done!

Thank you!!! Can't help using Google to see if the things they talk about are real....and in King books, they often are...I could've searched longer, but that guy was more than enough...ugh....gross. 'Salem's Lot could be read by young people very easily...but that guy--most adults couldn't stomach too much of his story!

message 18: by Sleepy (new)

Sleepy Hollow I didn't like this book. Action is predictable and boring.
