I must get started on this book Jayson. I have never read any of Rick Riordan's books before but your comments have encouraged me to make a start. Thank you!
That's very nice to hear Leila! I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad you found my updates beneficial in this way! Though I must acknowledge that it was the community here that motivated me to read this series, as is borne out in the many comments for Riordan-related posts I've made recently. I don't think I've ever received so much support and encouragement for simply stating my intention to read a book. It's quite remarkable the collective good feeling toward it.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed this Jayson! Looking forward for you to read the rest of the series. Titan's Curse and Last Olympian were my favorites😊🙌🏼

I'm glad too Leona! It restored my opinion of Riordan after my previous so-so experience with The Kane Chronicles delayed me for years from reading more of him.

I look forward to it too Beatrice! Fantasy series tend to get better further down the line, as the world gets more firmly established and characters grow into the history and mythology of it all.

That's great to hear! It's very nice to know that it ends on a high note. You don't always get that: The Hunger Games, for example, left me feeling somewhat sour.

They are my favourites too in the series!! :D

That's great to know Tahera! It's certainly got a solid base to build from.
You know what? I really love the way you write reviews about the books you read. It's very unique and precise.

I glad I liked it too, it was a very pleasant surprise.

You're welcome Rajeswari. My name's often misspelled as well. 😁
Jayson, I was already sold on the series, but your review definitely reminded me that I need to get into these books.

Thanks LaDonna! That's good to hear. I'm glad my review was helpful that way.

That's great to hear Marpapad! I'm really happy I was able to help you out this way. I hope it works out as well as the last time I indirectly recommended you a series. 😄👍

Thank you very much, Katelyn! I appreciate it. If you do get around to reading it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

Wonderful review, Jayson :)"
Thanks so much, Renégade! I appreciate it. That "sugar and caffeine" line is actually quote from the book, which I came across and thought perfectly described it. So I can't take full credit for inspiring any resultant coffee and chocolate ☕🍫😁

Thank you very much, Karen! I appreciate it :)
I pretty much LOVED the series when I first read it years ago. The characters, story and blend of Greek Mythology is just so engrossing 😃.

Awfully kind of of you to say, Leslie. Thanks :)

Yes, I agree with all of that. I actually didn't think I would like this series because I read The Kane Chronicles first, and it was really the opposite of everything you just said you liked about this book. So, this was a very pleasant surprise, and ended up being one of my favorite series.
