Susan I'm glad to hear this. I've started this book several times and just can't get into it. I'll jump ahead to another book. I was ready to give up on the whole series. Thank you for your candid review.

Deanne Patterson No don't give up on the series, Susan. The books are written by different authors in this series and I immensely enjoyed the other books I've read in this series. This one just didn't do it though unfortunately. I have a few other books in this series at home waiting for me to read and I am sure I'll enjoy them. Too many excellent books to waste time reading what we don't enjoy, right Susan?

Susan I agree.

Susan Deanne do I have to read this series.in order?

message 5: by Deanne (new)

Deanne Patterson Not at all, Susan. It's not one long continuous story. It's different stories about the 3 sisters that run Grace Chapel Inn. The stories are by different authors but you would never know. The stories are so wonderfully peaceful. It's like visiting with old friends :)
I hope you get a chance to read some of them and enjoy them!

Susan I have access to three libraries here in AZ so I'm hoping I can read quite a few of them! Thanks so much!! I'm starting with the first one so I can get the story of the sisters and then go from there!!

Deanne Patterson Susan, have you had a chance to start this series? What do you think of it? I still have plenty to read in this series as well. It's a lovely series of the three middle aged sisters, fun!

I don't think I've read any in this series this year myself. So many other goodies to read. I think when you start it you'll enjoy it.
Thank you, Susan. We are having a nice weekend. 2 of my daughter's have a birthday today. One is turning 17 and the other 23. Hope enjoy your weekend as well :)

Crystal I just read #37 Saints Among Us. it is the only one I have read so far. I really liked it and felt it was heartwarming. Mom is reading it now. she is having a harder time getting into the story

Shirley Chapel I love this Grace Chapel In series. There are 49 books to the series. They are easy read. I love the three sisters. I still haven't completely read the series.

Shirley Chapel What do you think of Aunt Ethel?

message 13: by Deanne (new)

Deanne Patterson There are books for every season in this series. I love them. Today I just bought Saints Among Us. Aunt Ethal is a busy body but she sure livens up the books.
