Lesley You have exactly captured my feeling and views on this book, Sandy.

Mary Beth *Traveling Sister* I am listening to the audiobook now. I am only an hour into it.
Awesome review Sandy. The audiobook is done very well so far.

PattyMacDotComma Good review of a tricky book. I enjoyed it, but I admit to going back and forth a bit to see if we already knew something or not. She did it well, I think!

Carla Johnson-Hicks Wonderful review Sandy. I did not realize it was such a tricky book to understand and get through. I am glad you liked it enough to want to read more by this author. I still have this one on my shelf.

Bev I agree with you Sandy. I read it a while ago, and when I realised how it was written, I had my doubts, but it DID actually work.

Yet something was sacrificed to get there, and I think if the plot is difficult to develop backwards, characters are even harder - hence the slight lack of connection that we seemed to have with the book. But you put it so well.

Lela Interesting. I've read a few books that left me feeling like that. I'm debating with myself about adding it to the pile. Hmmm?
