oh my god I need to reread this book so bad
I didn't even get past matthew gray gubler's #1 fangirl cause I'm literally sitting here watching Criminal Minds...

@Lin yessss do it!!! I actually haven't read any of his books beyond the original Percy Jackson series but I'm trying to reread these and get around to all the new ones :) they def have a special place in my heart because of all the nostalgia, but my BR partner was reading for the first time and loved it too!

they're so much fun!!!! I'd recommend picking these up when you need something quick but still cute and fun :)

YES I loved the clickbait chapter titles
and omg I just realized that these kids were all TWELVE when they went on their first hero journey... like, when I was 12 I was probably at home, either napping or reading & getting peanut butter smeared all over my books
I'm so happy this is on my feed. I'm currently rereading the 4th book and I forgot how much I fell in love with this series when I was in 5th/6th grade. It was my Harry Potter

ok agreed but also I'm 20 and I still spend a lot of my time at home napping and reading, so not much has really changed

I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! they're really fun and quick, but also so well done and smart :)
