Sofia You gottan love the titles people give their books. I haven't read the blub for this, so it could be about practically anything: "Taming the beast: A novel (about premature ejaculation)"

Indeed! Funny thing is, now that I have read the blurb, I found that I wasn't so far off the mark after all! XD

Kat Kennedy It isn't entirely what you're thinking it is...

I don't think the title... or the cover... or the blurb can really do this book justice.

Whoa... reading your review, I feel ashamed about joking around. Damn, I have bad timing! :(

Kat Kennedy No, don't! I totally would have been right there joking along with you!

Samina ~ Escapism~ Honestly, I don't wanna read this book.It is amazing how much reviews influence readers. Hey I am not admitting that I have no choice and I judge before reading but I need to atleast like the hero to keep reading. In this case he doesn't seem very..well likeable.

Kat Kennedy He isn't the hero. There is no hero in this novel. Jamie would be the closest but he is significantly flawed and impotent to help Sarah.

I don't think you'd like this book. I ADMIRE this book. I praise the author for her bravery and her confronting story-telling ability. But I'm not sure if I like this book or not.

Angela Loved your review. Almost halfway done and you pretty much took the words out of my mouth! I am as obsessed with this read as Sarah was with Daniel, and Jaime with Sarah!

Leah Fantastic review, Kat. You captured the same violent emotional reaction I had to this. The shadow of Lolita hangs heavily--it really felt like Lolita told from Dolores's POV, if she was allowed to grow up and realize how utterly fucked up she'd become.

Admiration rather than enjoyment is right.
