I love your idea to track your impressions of this book/movie as you get older. You already seem wise beyond your years, but we all change (in ways we hope are for the better). It's a tribute to King's work here that you consider this a worthy target for gauging your growth.
I did the same thing and re watched the movie after i read the book and notice so many different hidden elements that I never saw before. the book kinda pens your eyes to those other perspectives of the story.
