Glenn Russell Nice review. BTW - Thanks for 'liking' my review of SK's The Stand. I mentioned elsewhere how much I appreciate your reviewing. I can also appreciate how you have read some authors that I have found simply not to my taste. For me, that's one big reason I find art and literature so fascinating - so much gets back to individual tastes.

Algernon (Darth Anyan) My rating of The Stand dates back to the early 90's, and my own early twenties, when I was more impressionable and more focused on "adventure" novels. I'm not sure the original high rating would 'stand' up to a review today. Still, Stephen King is not a lost cause for me, as I greatly enjoyed his "Different Seasons' collection.
