mark monday I wonder what he had to say about McLaren.

Randolph He still basically hated Malcolm and his then partner, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood. His beef was that Malcolm always tried, and sometimes succeeded, in manipulating him as the alter ego he was too old and untalented to be. You have to also remember that Lydon was still technically a minor when he was initially conned by McLaren. McLaren basically embezzled all the Pistols income and royalties for his Great Rock and Roll Swindle venture. It wasn't until a court vindicated Lydon and his reluctant band mates and gave them their creative rights back that they ever really saw any money. In the Pistols heyday McLaren gave Johnny an "allowance" of £20 per week! Lydon also blamed McLaren for making the whole thing a circus and all the "they can't really play" hype when he really wanted it to be about the music.

I love Fans as well. I like many things created by less than perfect people.

mark monday Randolph I am impressed that you are continuing our conversation from nearly 5 years ago. Time is but an illusion after all, right? Or perhaps a flat circle. I say Time is just another word for nuthin left to lose!

Anyway, I, unlike you, only like things that are created by 100% perfect people *he says with a haughty sniff*
