~Geektastic~ I've always identified with Elinor, too.

Do you get annoyed with Marianne like me and want to smack that bitch up?

I really, really do!

Patricia Burroughs I love this review with a love that is unholy.

Alas, I am Marianne in this tale. At least I'm not out trolling the pub for soldiers like those Bennet trollops.

And of course, I do end up with Col. Dashwood and you end up with... oh well, I mustn't gloat.

Wait. Am I being the obnoxious little sister again? I fear it's a lifelong malady. ;-)

First off, thank you Patricia! Secondly, just because we want to backhand you now and then doesn't mean we don't love our precocious little siblings...after a fashion ;)

Angela Love the review, Jason! I think my eldest grandson would agree with your opening paragraph - he's nearly 11, the eldest of three, and he's voiced similar comments to me before now - poor lad!

Sydne Great review! I will probably pick this one up sometime. I've been wanting to read some Jane Austen lately.

Karen Oh goodness! Words cannot express how much I agree with you, Jason! That rantipole certainly does need a good smacking at times :)

Andy Mcclure Enjoyed your earlier posting Jason. I also felt that I could relate to the character of Elinor. As I continued to read I wanted to shake Marianne into silence and Edward into an emotional speech. Surprisingly the binding is still in decent shape!
