Mary Sounds great! Schwab can either do GREAT or just average. I really enjoyed Viscous so I guess it's time to read another book of hers! I hope this turns out to be great in the end and can't wait to see what you think of it!!

Cristina Monica That might be true, because I really thought her The Archived book 1 to be just good. Thanks!!

message 13: by Cristina Monica (new)

message 14: by Choko (new)

Choko Great review, Lola!!!

message 15: by Kari (new)

Kari Rhiannon (Moon Magister Reviews) don't worry Lola, you'll get more Rhy in book 2. A Gathering of Shadows is probably my favourite of the two, I adoooored it. There's some really great new characters and even more of the characters we already love.

message 16: by Luke (new)

Luke Taylor Can't wait to read these books! I have the hardcovers and I love the covers and the concept! I've never read Schwab before but I have a feeling I'll love her work with an unhealthy addiction!
Thank you for your review, Lo! :D

message 17: by Melanie (new)

Melanie Great review, love! I wasn't in love with this book, but this review makes me want to read the second one this summer! <3 xo

message 18: by Anali (new)

Anali I loved it! *-* Great review!

message 19: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica I hope you all will! It's DEFINITELY worth it. Oh and I just started AGOS and yesss Rhy is more present. Ugh, I love the characters so much. Thank you :D (Also, I spoiled myself so I know there's going to be a bit of MM romance yay <3)

message 20: by Yasmin (new)

Yasmin Lovely review Lola !
People will hate me for this, but at some point in the book, I started shipping Kell and Rhy together haha xD (I still do :D)

message 21: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica OMG ME TOO!!! Well... at the beginning... but then when I realized that he CLEARLY saw him as a brother, I found the idea a bit awkward ahah, but I shipped him with HOLLAND so, so bad!

message 22: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica It's just b/c he and Lila are not romantic with each other at all!

message 23: by Yasmin (new)

Yasmin Oh yeah, I couldn't see Kell and Lila as a couple at all. Maybe friends, but definitely not a couple.
Kell and Holland, YES !!
Their love totally screams Angst, haha xD and the fact that one cannot bring himself to kill the other... My God, hope Holland will make an appearance in the next book.

message 24: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica For all we know, Kell might be bisexual... right? But we just don't know! (or maybe his sexual orientation is clearer in AGOS??) Seriously though, I wish Schwab would write a spin-off, not so spin-off of Kell and Holland a couple ahah I'm gonna ask her that right now.

message 25: by Yasmin (new)

Yasmin Sign me in !!!
I'll love Schwab forever. That'd be the ultimate plot twist if Kell do end up with Holland.
Wow just wow, that'd be hugely satisfying.
Kell/Lila fans will riot though hhh

message 26: by Nikki (new)

Nikki Giving this a try! Thanks for the great review.

message 27: by sally ✿ (new)

sally ✿ Heck yes! Kell is such a sweetheart, I love him so, so much. I can't even begin to explain how much I love that boy.

message 29: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica Nikki, crossed fingers for you!!
Sally, um-hum who needs a coat when they can have the boy? Who do you ship him with?? Me and Yasmin we vote for Kell and Holland :D
Pang, you definitely should!! I've heard people say that it's much better! Thank you..

message 39: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica I know, right?? Holland is not BAD per se, he just turned off his emotiones after he was tortured and I fell for him! I hope he gets his HEF! Thank you, Vicky!!

Georgeanna Just wait till' the next book. This series is absolutely the best fantasy series I've read.

message 49: by Julia (new)

Julia Is this similar to Scwab's other books? I read the one with the Verity city and just wasn't a fan, but I'd be will to give this one a shot if it's different :)

message 50: by Cristina Monica (new)

Cristina Monica I only read the first book in her YA duology and it was good, but nothing like this :) What didn't you like about the Verity City book?
