I have not read this series either. Dunno why. I love Greek and Roman mythology. At some point, I'll give it a go. Maybe when I get my TBR pile down to a manageable size.

Oh, those are my exact same thoughts! I mean, I liked it, it was fun; but 12 yo Iving would've LOVED it! I still haven't read the second book but I definitely will soon bc The Trials of Apollo sounds amazing! (Apollo's one of my favorite gods)

That's exactly why I'm reading these books. I'm so interested in his newer books.
I don't know if I will like it less as I grow older, I'm almost fifteen (read it last year) but I absolutely loved it. I'm kinda sad I didn't when I was younger though. I hope the plot gets more interesting for you with the following books <3
