Mel Oioioi, I have this one on my TBR too.

Jason Bradley Totally agree with you on this one. In my opinion, this was non-consensual. And what is worse, Tyler doesnt seem to even realize it. I really didnt like this book.

Tara Oh good! It wasn't just me. I saw a lot of 5 star reviews for this and I just thought it was a little creepy. I wanted to take a shower after reading it, and not in a good way.

message 4: by Jason (new)

Jason Bradley well, it was a very early release in the genre and so I think that had alot to do with everyone loving it, you know?

message 5: by Mel (new)

Mel But the series does get better?

message 6: by Tara (new)

Tara Jason- I guess I can see that. I just thought maybe there was something I had missed. Just nice to know it wasn't just me.

Mel- I've only read through the 2nd book. And the second one is better than the first. So... yes?

message 7: by Mel (new)

Mel Yay! :) (I'll take what I can)

message 8: by Mel (new)

Mel I hope the next book does get better, cause I thought this one was rather meh...

Tara My favorite was the 3rd. Hell is a fun character and it's not just because of his purple hair!

Mel I read all your reviews for the next books. Just to know what happened and who ended up with who.
They're all gay? My god! That's the epitome of GFY, isn't it? Hey: all my friends are gay: so let me be gay too.
I saw the 5th one was a sort of recap for all of them. Maybe I should just read that one, LOL.
I really feel like they're okay reads, but not something I have to read. (Except for the Hell-book). Or am i wrong?

Tara Really there is some crossover with 2 an 3 not a ton, but it's some character stuff from 2 that plays a part in 3 and I think again in 5. I would say skip 1 (which I think you already read) and 4 which just annoyed me. But 2 & 3 aren't really GFY, I'll double check cause if they are labelled that I was wrong. Most of the guys are actually bi or gay to begin with, except for the drummer.

Mel Thanks :)
I just rewrote my review and found out that I actually liked the book less than I event thought. I'm still keeping it on three. And I guess I'm being extra strict because I had expected much more of Jet Mykels.
I also didn't really like the sex scenes. I've read much better sex scenes in other books. And I didn't like how sometimes no lube was necessary and sometimes Johnie would take time to prepare Tyler. Who apparently was a natural, didn't have any real pain the first time, can have anal sex just after being brought off himself, with little lube, any position, you name it.

Tara well, he's magic don't you know? :)

Mel LOL, and those beautiful big blue eyes and blond hair.., He's your regular sex angel! :)
