Goodreads asked Bernadette Pajer:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Bernadette Pajer Write! The hardest thing about writing is, well, writing! The discipline of putting words on the page every day. The best way to learn to write, is to write. Daily. It doesn't have to be a lot, but it has to be consistent. Next--don't give up. Writing is a lifelong journey of learning craft, setting new goals, discovering what it is you really want to say and how best to say it. Keep at it, keep believing in yourself. All that other stuff--building a platform, social media, promotion--that's all secondary to writing. Before you can find YOUR readers (who are waiting for your stories), you must write the very best book you can. And then write another. And another.
