For a lot of my projects, the initial inspiration comes from nightmares. I have really vivid, story-like nightmares sometimes, and I always wake up itching to write it down. A lot of times the project doesn't stay true to the dream or anything, it's just a spark of an idea. An image, or a character.
I'm inspired by everyday life too. People. The way they talk to each other, the way they react to each other or to difficulties. I also draw a lot of inspiration from other things I read, fiction and non-fiction.
