Dear Ms Mallery, Congratulations! And thank you for writing your books and sharing your stories. Love the Fool's Gold! What made you decide to change the Fool's Gold slogan? Will we get to "see" Charity, Liz, Pia, Annabelle, Heidi, Annabelle, Charlie and Evie along with their husbands (and others from earlier books) in future books, and not just have them talked about? Again, many thanks and continued success!

Hi, Xenia! For those who don't know, the Fool's Gold slogan for the past four years was "The Land of Happy Endings." When the men of Score PR moved to Fool's Gold this year and found out the city was going to paint that slogan on the official city vehicles, they were horrified. They told Mayor Marsha that "happy endings" has a different meaning to many men. (Men can make everything dirty!) I decided to change the town's slogan for that exact reason, and I thought it would be hysterical to do it in the book. I think "Fool's Gold: Destination for Romance" has a very nice ring to it.
I love finding opportunities to catch up with characters from past books. It's a delicate balance. I don't want to overwhelm new readers with names of characters they haven't met, but I also want to make sure that long-time Fool's Gold readers are satisfied. You will see many past heroes and heroines next year! :)

Susan, I love love love your Fool's Gold series. I love how positive the characters are and I love the small town feel. But I have to ask, How on earth do you manage to come up with so many different back stories and how in the world do you churn your books out so quickly?! Just wanted to let you know that I love your tough, tomboy females - it's so good to see different role models from the woman spectrum!

I tried reading more than 1 book at a time & just became disorganized & sometimes emotionally it is hard disconnect with characters Now I try to do 1 series at a time & in sequence ( logistically sometimes can't. I get the impression authors have more than one book on the go. & different series ... How do you manage to do it & stay connected with diffferent plots, characters, feelings, etc.?
