Get a beta reader or a critique partner who will be honest but constructive. If you think you don't need one--trust me, you do. My writing partners are my favorite people ever. If I didn't have keen eyes to point out missteps or offer suggestions to improve, my stories would stagnate and by teaming up with them, I only improve my skills as a writer.
