Joyce asked:

Do I need to read "So Good They Can't Ignore You" before this book? Or does it stand alone on its own?

Frank Chang "So good they can't ignore you" is worth a read. It's different from Deep Work. It's really about how to stand out in the professional world. Doing Deep Work will compliment that stand out and make your own lane; but "So Good" has very good advice on how to make you be a special breed in the work space.
Boni Aditya "So good they can't ignore you" isn't related to this book but I liked that book better than this one. This one seems repetitive, while the other book is more engaging.
Bragadeesh Not necessarily, but that book is a great one too!
Holger No, this stands alone. That book isn't mentioned.
Raymond Chan NOT related. but they both mention craftsman mindset in different stories.
Juliano No, you don't need to.
Afaz Khokhar The subject line is pretty much similar, but there is definitely no prerequisite in Carl's work.
