What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kate Moore There's so much to do and learn when you know you want to write. Read and analyze the writers you admire to see how they do it. Read books on the craft of writing. Write daily. Your first book length work will probably be like your first run on an advanced ski slope. It won't be pretty, but you'll have to keep going, and you'll be surprised to discover how much you learned just by doing it.
