Salem Hyde I personally really like the book. It's a good insight into the duality of humans, and it goes to show how just about anyone can be corrupted if they are given the right incentives. The novel isn't that long of a read (the edition I have has 95 pages) and I find it really enjoyable: the setting is a lovely, authentic Victorian London, the characters feel unique and distinctive, and even though everyone already knows what the "final twist" is, it's still quite interesting to see how we get there. Hope this helped!
