I long ago purchased a collection of short essays by well-known writers about the craft of writing... "Just Open A Vein" edited by Willaim Brohaugh and published by Writer's Digest Books. There are lots of good nuggets in these brief stories for the common challenges facing aspiring writers. I don't remember them all, but what stuck with me was the title. Whether good writing or bad, just let it flow. The writing will lead to new ideas, better approaches, and more creative solutions. How to deal with writer's block? Just open a vein.
