I have always loved and admired Edgar Allan Poe. His writings are so macabre but they are fascinating nonetheless. His poetry is amazing! He comes out with words that is so not of our time, but it's beautifully written during his very bad days.

Kendall Moore Indeed. He, along with Hawthorne, are the masters of American Gothic.
