Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Autumn Jordon Ideas come from everywhere; a bit of conversation, a headline, people watching. The idea for Obsessed By Darkness came form a news story where several college students had died during their first few weeks at school. I think it was a car accident. My heart was broken for those families as my youngest son had just started his freshman year at Penn State. Weeks later, I thought what if students died from a new drug sweeping campus. I immediately called my son and again gave him the speech about drugs.

The story took form, but after a year, it still didn't seem right to me. Then the psychopath showed up in my mind and I had no choice but to rewrite.
