How do you go about getting "ARC" copies? Read everything by Furst, Kerr,LeCarre, etc. etc... have a bookshelf with over 1200 books, does that play a role or help to get one??? Thanks in Advance to anyone who can advise..:)

Susan I enter the giveaways I really want because you just never know when you can be the lucky one. Then I review everything I read. I'm all over the place with authors since I've started Goodreads and I am enjoying the art of reading to a new level.
Pat Snodgrass Go to netgalley.com and sign up. Choose the publishers you would like to get books from, click on the books that you would like to read, and eventually, sooner than later, you will get an ARC. Used to be that you could get a hard copy, but most are sent out as eBooks now. You will be expected to write a review on netgalley after you have finished the book. It's a great way to get a feel for new authors, or read a book ahead of its being published.(Some publishers want you to have a reading blog first, so they are kind of picky).
