Jenniferbarnard2btinternet.Com asked Maggie Craig:

I do love your books I have everyone of them which I have kept and read them time and time again. When are you going to bring another book out please? I have been so taken with your books I have actually visited Scotland many times and been to the places you have written about.

Maggie Craig Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your lovely message, you've made my day. My next book is a short non-fiction: Henrietta Tayler, Scottish Jacobite Historian and First World War Nurse. That will be published next month. I'm currently working on Dance to the Storm, the sequel to Gathering Storm. That will be published later this year. Life has got in the way of writing over the last year, I'm afraid but I have other books on the stocks, so hope to make up for lost time over this year and next. I'll take your message as encouragement!

Intrigued that you have visited the places. I've had a few readers tell me that they have retraced Richard and Kate's steps in One Sweet Moment, also visiting the plaque in Waverley Station which marks the site of the old physic garden.

Just in case you're going to be in Scotland within the next two weeks (!), I'm doing a bookshop talk in Glasgow on Wednesday 13th April.

All the very best and thank you so much for getting in touch.

Maggie x
