What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Jeff Hewitt I just love the craft, but the most rewarding part is creating a story that people respond to. I've had so much fun reading the comments people left for my Pseudopod story "Face Change" and what was really cool was people were sharing their interpretation of the events. They thought of angles I hadn't considered myself when I was writing the story, and so I got to look at my story through several lenses beyond my own.
