T. Coraghessan Boyle Thank you for the kind words, Erika. And what a coincidence! I too love Drop City. In answer to your question, though: no. All the characters are purely invented. Though certainly Ronnie is an amalgam of people I've known and maybe, just maybe, he's got a little of me in him too.
