Goodreads asked Abigail George:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Abigail George I do not deal with writer's block. I do not believe in writer's block. I do not think a writer is lazy. You just have to become more intuitive and work on it. Writing is hard work just like independence, liberty, loyalty, trustworthiness, being a nurse, a teacher, a spiritual guru or a person who rides ambulances. All of those jobs require perfection. All of those jobs require dedication, devotion, hard work. The nurse does not wake up one morning and say, 'Oh, no I cannot help anyone who is sick or who is dying today because I have writer's block.' That just does not happen. I do not mean to sound like I have it made. I don't. I just put my shoulder to the wheel some days and work hard and other days I take it easy.
