On a different book cover for the first book, (the black and gold one) I believe is the same girl. I mean, at least they look the same and Asian.

Well, Allie is originally of Japanese decent, but somehow the first book cover doesn't show that. Probably because people are more used to the fact that the main character is usually caucasian and whatnot.
