Goodreads asked Leigh Podgorski:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Leigh Podgorski WRITE! Every day! Even if it's just a little bit. I used to bargain w/ myself.... You just have to sit down for one hour-- that's all I'm asking of you today. The art of writing is applying the seat of the pants to the seat of the chair was once said to me by a very wise person. That, and don't take your reviews too seriously. Not every book you write will be well-loved, liked, or received. It will not be everyone's cuppa. in other words. Be true to yourself. Be honest. Be diligent. And don't publish until you know it's ready-- and publish w/out typos--- so whatever happens-- you can be proud of what you have done.
