Hi! I was just reading your review of a book, and you mentioned you got it to reveiw. I have heard similar things from other people and I was wondering if you could tell me how I could get into that? Where I might go to apply for the program or sign up? I love books and love sharing what I have read, I actually keep a book journal! LOL Thank you

Claudie Arseneault Okay, so I got mine because the author is another author I know, and trading review is a way to help each others out. BUT, here's how regular book reviewer do, as far as I know:

1) start a book reviewing blog. Post review of books they love regularly, build an audience (often they crosspost on goodreads and Amazon, and have twitter accounts).

2) Make sure you have a page saying what you review and how to contact you. Sometimes people will come forward to offer you books in exchange for a honest review.

3) Register to NetGalley. It's the biggest site for exchange ARCs and if you want books from big publishing houses, I think you need to be on there.

4) I think you can ask small houses and indie authors. I'm not sure what the guidelines are for this.

I think book bloggers also trade books sometimes? But the first step would be to start a blog and network with others who read in a similar genre. They'll be able to help you out even more!
