I either play a video game, which tends to put me in the mood for sci-fi or, and I know this is weird, I pick an equation from the NASA.gov webpage and I do astrophysics math. Seriously. For some reason working out how long it would take a space ship to reach orbit or Mars just gets my creative juices flowing.
